Blind rageI realise i'm living, i open my heavy, manhole cover eyes, i look but dont see. i sit up, no colour, i feel for the telephone, i sprawl my hand, reach left, reach right, i reach all over... There it is! I pick it up, feel the numbers, 1, 2, 7, the buttons, so large, so cool, i call the number of my mother. "hello!" someone Picks up. "hi..." "Hi its jamie, is my mum there?" "ummm..." [oops] "I have the wrong number don't i?" "no mate..." "oh Good!" (by now i realise somethings wrong) "So... Is My mum able to get to the phone? The m Blind rage

Toy SoldierHis camoflauge uniform    was just a bit too big, hanging from his body    like a snake's old skin that hasn't quite shed.
